I was born and raised in Yorkshire, but I’ve recently relocated to Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland—a region that has completely captured my imagination. Since moving here, I’ve been amazed by the area’s untouched beauty, dramatic landscapes, and incredible wildlife.

Dumfries and Galloway is one of Scotland’s hidden gems: peaceful, unspoiled, and rich with opportunities for landscape and nature photography. It’s often overlooked by travellers, but those who venture here are rewarded with breathtaking coastlines, forests, and hills, and some hidden surprises.
